Ambassadors Visited TFTAK as Part of Estonia’s Diplomatic Introduction Program

On June 13, TFTAK had the honor of hosting ambassadors from various countries, accompanied by representatives from the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The visit began with a warm welcome by TFTAK’s CEO, Martin Lall, followed by an engaging presentation by Merli Üle, Innovation Director, who introduced TFTAK’s core focus areas and current flagship projects. Mary-Liis Kütt, Chief Innovation Officer, presented ÄIO, the innovative platform for sustainable lipids. To conclude the official program, Rain Kuldjärv, Head of the Functional Foods Group, provided an overview of the lunch menu, which featured a variety of foods developed at TFTAK and now available in stores.

The buffet lunch was built entirely around TFTAK’s innovations and offered guests a truly flavorful experience. Guests enjoyed Thormi Chickenless in Coconut-Curry Sauce and Chili sin carne with Thormi Vegan Chickenless as hearty main courses. These were complemented by tangy and vibrant Kadarbiku Kimchi, as well as Chef Lunden’s Health Bowls, featuring both Vegan Tuna and Mozzarella options. For dessert, guests were treated to La Muu’s lactose-free Mango-Passion ice cream, and to refresh, they sampled Fibes smoothies.

The drink selection was equally thoughtful and innovative, including Värska Magnesium and the rhubarb-raspberry flavored Värska Vurtsvasser, alongside Liviko’s functional non-alcoholic beverages, Tripsy Chillax and Tripsy Euphoria, which added a sophisticated touch to the overall dining experience.

Each year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organizes a program designed to help non-residential ambassadors get to know Estonia by visiting local institutions and key officials, while also allowing them to connect with fellow diplomats from around the world. For TFTAK, it is a true honor to serve as a showcase of Estonian science and food innovation.

We sincerely thank all our guests for their visit.
