We will be showcasing sustainable food innovations in the Innovation Area of the Estonian Annual Exhibition of Agriculture (EPA Mess 2025) on 8–9 October in Tartu.


Food innovation requires a comprehensive approach, from raw materials and processing to smart valorization of side streams. We look forward to connecting with partners and exchanging ideas on how cutting-edge science and innovation can shape the future of food.


You can find us in the Innovation Area, located in the Library Hall of the Estonian National Museum (ERM), where we will be presenting several of our international R&D projects:


  • RoundGoby: A project focused on valorizing the invasive round goby species from the Baltic Sea into sustainable pet food.


  • Domino: Aiming to develop new fermented vegetable-based products suitable for the European market.


  • KavaTech: Improving the quality of faba bean and pea protein powders through novel and efficient processing technologies.

On Tuesday, 8 October, from 16:30, our Business Development Manager, Andres Maser, will present an overview of TFTAK's international food innovation projects, with a special focus on KavaTech, highlighting our collaborative approach to creating sustainable solutions.
