Main responsibilities
Execute laboratory experiments, using the knowledge of microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, and engineering basics
Participate in good laboratory practices, including cleaning and maintenance
Analyze and optimize fermentation processes for enhanced productivity in fungal biomass cultivation related projects
Collaborate within a dynamic team in a supportive work environment
Position requirements
FILAMENTOUS FUNGI
MSc degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or equivalent laboratory experience
Knowledge of chemical engineering and/or cultivation of filamentous fungi will earn You extra points
PRECISION FERMENTATION
MSc degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Gene Technology or equivalent laboratory experience
Knowledge of genetic engineering and/or molecular biology will earn You extra points
Other requirements
Strong understanding and passion for excellence in laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
Ability to work in a group as well as independently
Good communication and time management skills with the ability to follow instructions
Ability to plan and carry out research tasks, and to report results in oral and written forms
Excellent written and oral English
