FILAMENTOUS FUNGI

PRECISION FERMENTATION

Main responsibilities

  • Execute laboratory experiments, using the knowledge of microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, and engineering basics

  • Participate in good laboratory practices, including cleaning and maintenance

  • Analyze and optimize fermentation processes for enhanced productivity in fungal biomass cultivation related projects

  • Collaborate within a dynamic team in a supportive work environment

 

Position requirements

FILAMENTOUS FUNGI

  • MSc degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or equivalent laboratory experience

  • Knowledge of chemical engineering and/or cultivation of filamentous fungi will earn You extra points

 

PRECISION FERMENTATION

  • MSc degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Gene Technology or equivalent laboratory experience

  • Knowledge of genetic engineering and/or molecular biology will earn You extra points

 

Other requirements

  • Strong understanding and passion for excellence in laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols

  • Ability to work in a group as well as independently

  • Good communication and time management skills with the ability to follow instructions

  • Ability to plan and carry out research tasks, and to report results in oral and written forms

  • Excellent written and oral English
